Okome House is a chinese buffet in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is listed at 4551 New Bern Ave #130, Raleigh, NC 27610, which places it among the local businesses of Raleigh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Raleigh; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (919) 977-3555. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, order.online.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 579 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese buffets in Raleigh.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I absolutely love this place! I love sashimi, so every time I come here, I end up ordering a ton of it. Everything is always incredibly fresh and delicious. What really stands out is how fast the service is. Even after we placed our second round of orders, the food came out very quickly. That makes such a huge difference because when you’re waiting too long, you lose your appetite. Here, that has never been a problem. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is very clean, and the quality is consistently excellent every single visit. This has become my favorite Japanese all-you-can-eat restaurant, and I recommend it to anyone who loves fresh sushi and great service!

This place is truly a hidden gem! I’m so glad we decided to give it a try. Everything we ordered, from the appetizers to the sushi, specialty rolls, and even the hibachi, was absolutely delicious. You can really tell they put care into every dish. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great all-you-can-eat sushi spot!

I have tried every all you can eat sushi place in the area! I went on a Friday night for dinner: Pros: - Great variety on menu, so if you return you can try something new every time. The sheer quantity of speciality rolls available is impressive. A lot of speciality appetizers. Many free dessert options, I love the fried oreos! The wings were a standout for me as well, very good. - Service was insanely good when I went. At the end we ordered 3 rolls, and it look ~5 minutes for them to arrive. No other place has come anywhere close to that speed. Plates were quickly removed once empty and waters were kept full - Some good fish on the menu. We really liked the pepper tuna roll. The pepper tuna is unique compared to other places. Cons: - Definitely got some funky fish, I think the white fish in particular was the issue. Just did not taste good. Salmon / pepper tuna was good so I'd stick to rolls with that - WAY TOO MUCH SAUCE. Next time I come I'll try to put a request for less sauce. It was really overpowering and unpleasant. One of our fav rolls was the basic salmon and avocado roll since there was no sauce! - Rice has a very strong sesame(?) flavor. I know sushi rice is seasoned,

I've been here a few times with friends. We love that we can order unlimited sushi, so that we are getting our money's worth. We also get appetizers and dessert included with the all-you-can-eat price. I've loved all the food I've eaten and tried here. I'd recommend to others for sure. The atmosphere is more chill and laid back, which is enjoyable for more casual hangouts. I'd say it's a kid friendly environment as well.

I recently visited Okome House Sushi. The restaurant is new, and the service was definitely a highlight of my experience. Our server, Omar, was very nice, patient, and helpful. I wasn’t sure how to order since it was my first time there, but my friend had arrived before me and they took care of everything. The soup wasn’t what I expected, and the sushi itself was not the best I’ve hadβ€”but it was fine for the price. The overall cost felt similar to buffet pricing. One thing I really liked is that there’s plenty of parking, which makes the visit more convenient. Overall, it was an okay experience with good service, average food, and easy parking.
